While in his senior year at Oklahoma Wesleyan he met Sarah. They married in July 2007 and settled in North Austin for a year before purchasing a home in Round Ro

High School D-Groups!

This Fall we’re putting the D back into D-Groups!

Discipleship Groups are weekly small groups intended to help students become disciples of Christ. Each group is led by an adult with a simple mission (1) Get to know the student, (2) Get to know them spiritually, (3) help them take their next spiritual step. These groups call the students to commit to daily devotions, service, outreach, and Christian community. Their leader will help them grow in each of these areas.

If you want your student to grow spiritually, D-Groups are the place where growth happens.

Groups start meeting the week of October 3rd and run through the week of December 12th. Once the semester begins, groups are closed. Therefore, the next couple of weeks are your chance to get your student plugged into a D-Group.

COST: $10 per semester (to purchase their curriculum)

AVAILABLE GROUPS:

Guys:

Monday Nights: 9th-11th
Leader: Sean Chandler

Thursday Nights: 10th-12th

Friday Mornings: All High School Guys

Small Groups Coming Soon

This fall we will have both middle and high school small groups. I'm currently in the process of recruiting leaders. Groups will be starting by the end of September.

C-Groups (Community Groups)

The aim for our middle school groups is to form a deep sense of Christian community. In these groups we want them to form godly friendships which will last a lifetime. We want our students to learn how to be friends who challenge one another to grow spiritually.

D-Groups (Discipleship Groups)

The focus of our high school small groups will be discipleship. By the time our students graduate our ministry, we want to give them the opportunity to see what it means to be a disciple. It's more than attending church and a small group. It's following hard after Christ. We want to help them do this.

More details coming within the week!
