Summer Movie Nights: Napoleon Dynamite - June 28th

Without school, homework, or extra-curricular activities, you have lots of free time on your hands. That makes it much easier for us to schedule some relaxing hangout time. With that in mind, the plan is to have regular movie nights in the church office.

They'll be informal hangout times where you can bring your friends. The first one is this Sunday.

When - Sunday June 28th - 7:00 PM
Where - The Church Office a.k.a. The Exchange
Who - All 6th-12th graders
What - Hang out, watch a movie, and feast on snacks

Boot Camp 2009 - Details and Packing List

Here's the scoop on Boot Camp 2009!

The Great Adventure is almost here! Boot Camp is in less than a week and we’re so excited for that time to prepare with our teams.

We will be leaving HCBC Hutto Office at 2 PM on Monday, June 22nd – please be on time, better yet, be early! We’ll need to pack up the vans and head off to Waco. We plan to arrive back in Austin on Friday around 3:30 PM.

The total cost of boot camp is $100, if you haven’t paid the remainder, please bring a check to turn in on Sunday.

Pack light! We’ll be going in vans and there will not be a lot of room for luggage. Please limit yourself to 1 bag and 1 carry-on.

What to bring:
• Clothes for 5 days – including work clothes that can get dirty
• 1 pair of closed-toed shoes (for the day we do our work project, flip-flops are fine for the other days)
• Personal hygiene items
• Towel
• Bedding (pillow, sheets, blankets, or sleeping bag)
• Air mattress or cot (optional)
• Bible, pen, and GA curriculum (if you do not have the curriculum, please contact your captain or you can access it here http://www.hcbcpf.com/mediafiles/ga-curriculum.pdf
• Sunscreen
• Water Bottle
• Snacks or money for snacks (this is optional, no more than $5-10 will be necessary).
