Big Dates in 2011

Hey,

I wanted to give you a few dates and projected costs for our student ministry this year.

• D-Group Spring Kick-Off- February 6th – Sent – Ed Stetzer (This is the youth version of the material we’re doing in adult small groups) - $10
• Captain’s Camp – April 1-3 - $50 (high school only)
• Boot Camp – June 20-24 - $100
• Backyard Bible Clubs – July 11-15 - $0
• GO TRIP – July 25-29 - $200 (or less)
• Concert of Praise – August 14 - $0

ReNew 2011 - Packing List & Leave/Return Times

We will be meeting up on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Hill Country Bible Church Pflugerville.

We will be returning to Hill Country Bible Church Pflugerville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

What to bring:

•  Clothes for 2 days – including clothes that can get dirty
•  1 pair of closed-toed shoes (for some games/Ropes Course/Horses)
•  Personal hygiene items
•  Towel
•  Pillow
•  Bedding (sheets and blankets for Twin bed or sleeping bag)
•  Bible
•  Pen & Notebook
•  Water Bottle
•  Balance of what you owe in a check made payable to: “Hill Country Bible Church”
•  Frontier Camp Release Form
•  Bag Lunch or money for lunch on the way down
•  Snacks or money for snack (this is optional, no more than $5-10 will be necessary).

What to leave at home:

• iPod or any other portable, electronic devices (iPad, DVD Player, Computer, etc.)
• Music: We will have Tons of music so feel free to leave yours at home
• WMDs, Tobacco, Drugs or Alcohol
• Guns & knives (those are supplied by the camp) or any other weapons

ReNew is our annual winter student ministry retreat. They are always a great time for fun, friends, and growth.

SPEAKER: Marcus Bell-Winston - HCBC RR Church Plant Pastor

At 12 years old, Marcus one night dreamt he would be a pastor. At the time he laughed at the idea, but at 17 years old the Lord took a hold of his heart and Marcus began to live out his faith in a dramatic way. While in his senior year at Oklahoma Wesleyan he met Sarah. They married in July 2007 and settled in North Austin for a year before purchasing a home in Round Ro ck. Marcus worked as a Banker and Financial Advisor for three years while serving as Associate Teaching Pastor for the Youth Ministry at their church. BAND: Proud Waves Halt Proud Waves Halt is a new worship band composed of former members of The Exchange Band, and the Two14 Pflugerville worship band. They have a passion to lead others in worship.
